In our house, we’re all about flavor. We love experimenting with new spices, seasoning blends, and sauces. In terms of flavor, our favorite dishes typically are Asian inspired, much like these Crispy Asian Wings.
The one drawback to making Asian dishes is that getting the flavor profile right can be hard. There’s so many different spices that can go into one dry rub or sauce. When we came across the Asian Zing seasoning blend by Dak’s, we knew we had to try it.
This blend is perfect for meats. We used it on these crispy wings, but I imagine it would be taste delicious on just about anything. It’s got a bit of a kick, so if you don’t like spicy foods, this might not be the recipe for you.
The best part about this recipe is that it’s easy. The wings come out so juicy and they’re perfect for game days or party appetizers. If you’re eating low carb, the flour can easily be replaced with Almond Flour. The result is just as delicious.

These crispy wings are so delicious and addictive! Perfect for get togethers and game day.
- 1 lb chicken wings
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1/4 cup whipping cream
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Dak's Asian Zing Blend
- vegetable oil
- 1 tsp cilantro flakes

Begin by putting all of your wings in a large bowl. Combine whipping cream and garlic powder and mix well. The wings should be completely coated with the cream.
In a large baggy, pour in half of the flour.
Add half of the wings and shake well. Put wings aside on a piece of parchment paper.
Repeat those steps to coat the other half of the chicken wings with flour.
Begin heating 1 inch of vegetable oil over medium heat in a large frying pan.
Cook each wing for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until browned. Make sure the internal temp of the wing is 165.
Set cooked wings on a wire rack to let the grease drain.
Gently toss in the dry rub.
Add the cilantro and lime juice on top.
