Grilled Scallop Tostadas
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Jewel-Osco. All opinions are 100% mine.
Summertime is our favorite, because that means we get to bust out the grill. Honestly, I’d grill year-round if we could. There’s so little clean up and the food always has such a great flavor. We recently started grilling a lot more seafood – particularly shellfish – and it’s been a game changer.
Being in located in Chicago, we’ve always been proud Jewel-Osco shoppers. You can also find these scallops at the Albertsons Companies family of stores, including Albertsons, Safeway, ACME Markets, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Randalls, Shaw’s Supermarket, Star Market, Tom Thumb and Vons. We started purchasing their Open Nature® Responsible Choice™ seafood and will never go back! 100% of Open Nature seafood is wild caught, contains no preservatives, and all products now bare the Responsible Choice™ logo for sustainable sourcing.
When shopping for seafood, we always look for indicators that it’s going to taste fresh and that it was responsibly caught. All of this effects the taste and quality, and there’s nothing worse than opening a bag of shellfish to find that it’s not up to par.
We decided to try out their Open Nature® Colossal Sea Scallops and were not disappointed.
Pairing the grilled flavor of these scallops with a tostado topped with fresh ingredients made for an impressive, yet easy dish. We bought all of the produce fresh from Jewel! Jewel-Osco also offers Grocery Delivery and Drive Up & Go™ for convenient ways to shop!
There are so many textures and flavors on these tostadas. The colors are beautiful and they’re a great dish for entertaining. Let’s get started!
