Easy Steak Fettuccine Alfredo

We’ve been trying to cut out unhealthy carbs recently. Over the summer, we really got off track once we went into quarantine. We ate all of the pasta. The last few weeks, we’ve been doing much better and eating so much healthier!

Over the weekend, it was Emma’s birthday and we decided that it was time for a cheat meal. Her favorite carb filled meal is definitely a good pasta dish, so we went this Steak Fettuccine Alfredo.

If you’ve never had red meat with a white sauce, you’re in for a treat. We recently had it at a restaurant here in Chicago and knew that we had to recreate it with our favorite Fettuccine Alfredo Sauce Recipe.

This recipe is so simple and the sauce itself is actually low carb. We like to pour it over veggies or meat when we’re watching our carbs. It’s delish!

But for this recipe, we poured it over fettuccine noodles and grilled garlic steak. It was super simple to make and it’s really easy to make a big batch. I think it would make a great dinner party recipe! We put our steak on the grill because we really enjoy the flavor the grill gives red meat, but it would be fine to sear it too. We cooked our steak to an internal temperature of 140, but feel free to cook it to your preferred doneness.

Here is a great resource on steak temperatures that we often refer to!

Let’s get started with our Steak Fettuccine Alfredo!
