Asian Inspired Chicken Wings
We’re getting married this summer and therefore have been back on our low carb kick! When we’re eating low carb, we eat a lot of chicken wings, and Asian inspired foods are our favorites! We really wanted to combine our favorite Asian flavors with one of our favorite foods, and came up with these chicken wings. We could eat these Asian Inspired Chicken Wings for every meal.
They’re everything comfort food should be. Flavorful, crispy, sweet, spicy. They come out delicious every time. To keep these chicken wings extra moist and fall apart tender, we marinate them in yogurt for two hours before cooking.
To get them extra crispy, we bake them at 475 for about 20 minutes, or until 165 internal temp. They come out charred and delicious, just how we like them. I know… they look a little burnt. But I promise, chicken wings cooked at this high of a temperature come out so good!
We like to replace the brown sugar with brown coconut sugar – but this is up to you!
Let’s get started.
