Pasta With Spicy Vodka Sauce
Since we got married and have been able to indulge a little more, we’ve been eating pasta more regularly. This Pasta With Spicy Vodka Sauce has been on our regular rotation for the last couple of months. The sauce is so creamy and full of flavor!
This recipe would not be possible if not for Sean’s job. Working in the food industry, Sean frequents trade shows where he gets in front of grocery store buyers from around the country to try and sell his products. Many companies’ spanning across all food and beverage categories from around the world do the same.
As such, he gets to meet a lot of people from these other brands and always end up leaving the show with delicious new food and drinks to try. Sean was finally able to get back to doing trade shows this year, which awarded us with the ability to come across this fantastic pasta brand, Pastificio G. Di Martino.
This brand comes from Italy and has a selection of different pastas that are nothing less than a dream. We got a bag of their Paccheri, a noodle type that neither of us have tried before, and it blew us away. This noodle can often be confused with Rigatoni. They do look very similar, but the Paccheri is larger and wider in size. Paccheri is meant to be served with a sauce, and the sauce that we devised to go with it brought about a flavor that paired to make a spicy and unforgettably delicious dish. Using fresh ingredients to create our Spicy Vodka Sauce and then topped with fresh herbs will make you feel like you are sitting in a café in Italy eating this!
Let’s get started.
