Grilled Scallop Tostadas

These easy grilled scallop tostadas are easy and packed with authentic flavor! They're perfect for to impress your guests are your next backyard BBQ.

  • 1 package tostadas
  • 1 package frozen colossal sea scallops by Open Nature, defrosted
  • 1 avocado peeled, mashed
  • 1 red onion diced
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 1 husk of corn cooked + off the cob. You can also use a jar of canned corn.
  • 3 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 3 tbsp Cotija cheese crumbled
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper


  1. Begin by prepping all of your fresh produce per the ingredients list.

  2. Once your workspace is organized with all of the fresh ingredients, clean the scallops by removing the tough mussel on the side (some scallops do not have this.) Pat them dry.

  3. Drizzle the scallops with olive oil. Salt and pepper on both sides.

  4. Grill them for 2-3 minutes on each side. Set aside when done.

  5. Add salt to your mashed avocado. Spread the avocado onto each of your tostadas.

  6. Place three scallops on the tostada.

  7. Top with corn, cilantro, tomato, and red onion.

  8. Top with lime juice.

  9. Top with cheese.

  10. Serve and enjoy!
