Nashville Hot Fish Sandwich

This Nashville Hot Fish Sandwich is such a fun and unique twist on a traditional crispy fish sandwich!

Ingredients

  • 1 package Gorton's crispy battered fish filets
  • brioche buns
  • 1/4 cup ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1.5 tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp honey
  • coleslaw

Instructions

  1. Begin by cooking fish filets according to the packaging.

  2. While the fish is cooking, begin by melting the ghee in a small saucepan.

  3. On low heat, add the spices and honey to the ghee.

  4. Remove from heat.

  5. In a large frying pan, melt a little bit of butter and brown the buns.

  6. Add the crispy filets to the bun. Spoon over some of the Nashville Hot Sauce.

  7. Add your favorite slaw.

  8. Enjoy!
