Instant Pot Pork Shoulder With Apple Cider and Fresh Apples

Ingredients

  • 1 pork loin
  • 3 apples
  • 3 carrots
  • 1 onion
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • fresh thyme
  • garlic powder
  • paprika
  • 1 cup chicken powder
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Start by chopping apples, onions, carrots, and garlic.

  2. Season your pork loin with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Put your instant pot on saute. Add olive oil and sear pork loin on both sides. Set aside.

  4. Add onions to the pot.

  5. Once cooked down, add carrots, apples, and garlic.

  6. Add ACV to deglaze.

  7. Add apple cider and chicken broth.

  8. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.

  9. Put roast on top.

  10. Pressure cook for 20 minutes with a slow release and enjoy!
